Terms & Conditions 

For WORLD OF AGILE

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and World of Agile, operated under Effective PMC Pvt. Ltd. (“World of Agile,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of worldofagile.com, its subdomains (including studentcorner.worldofagile.com), and all related content, communications, and training programs (collectively, the “Platform” and “Programs”).

By accessing the Platform, browsing our course pages, registering for a Program, or otherwise using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy (incorporated herein by reference and available at worldofagile.com/refund-policy). If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Programs, legal requirements, or business practices. The “Effective Date” above will be updated accordingly, and continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

World of Agile(EPMC) is a Scrum Alliance Registered Education Institute) and delivers certification training in partnership with accreditation bodies including Scrum Alliance, Scaled Agile, Inc., and Kanban University. Each accreditation body may impose its own policies and requirements on certain Programs, which apply in addition to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to register for a Program independently. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must register on your behalf and accepts full responsibility for your use of the Platform, including all fees and obligations incurred.

By registering, you represent that all information you provide (name, email, organization, payment details, etc.) is accurate, current, and complete, and you agree to update it as needed. World of Agile reserves the right to refuse or cancel a registration where information provided is found to be false or misleading.

3. Enrollment, Fees & Payment

3.1 Registration

Enrollment in a Program is confirmed only upon receipt of the applicable registration fee (in full or per an agreed installment plan) and issuance of a confirmation email from World of Agile. It is your responsibility to review the course dates, format (classroom/virtual), trainer, and fee details before completing payment.

3.2 Fees & Taxes

All fees are quoted in the currency displayed at checkout (INR for India-market batches, USD for US-market batches, unless stated otherwise) and are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST) unless otherwise indicated. You are responsible for any bank charges, currency conversion fees, or payment gateway charges incurred in making payment.

3.3 Payment Processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. World of Agile does not store your full card or banking credentials; such information is handled directly by our payment partners in accordance with their own security standards and terms. World of Agile is not responsible for losses arising from the payment gateway’s handling of your data.

3.4 Discounts & Offers

Promotional discounts, group offers, or referral credits are subject to the specific terms communicated at the time of the offer, may not be combined unless expressly stated, and may be withdrawn or modified at World of Agile’s discretion prior to registration confirmation.

3.5 Non-Transferability

A confirmed enrollment is specific to the registrant and is non-transferable to another Program or another individual, except where explicitly permitted under Section 4 (Registrant Substitutions).

4. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

Our full Cancellation & Refund Policy is published separately at worldofagile.com/refund-policy and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. A summary of key terms is provided below; in the event of any conflict, the dedicated Refund Policy page governs.

4.1 Cancellations & Reschedules by You

  • Requests must be submitted in writing via email to World of Agile’s registered support address.
  • Cancellations made 7 or more calendar days before the training date are eligible for a refund, less a transaction processing charge (10% for PayPal payments; 5% for all other payment gateways).
  • Cancellations made less than 7 calendar days before the training date are not eligible for a refund, except in cases of documented medical emergency or national emergency, but may be eligible for a reschedule.
  • Reschedule requests made more than 10 calendar days before the class are accommodated at no extra charge; requests made within 10 days may attract an additional 10% reschedule fee (waived for documented medical or national emergencies).
  • Registrant substitutions (transferring your seat to a colleague) are permitted any time before the course start date, subject to notifying World of Agile in advance.
  • No-shows and unnotified absences are not eligible for a refund or reschedule.
  • Approved refunds are processed within 15 days of the request, via the original payment method, and may take 5–7 additional business days to reflect depending on your bank or payment provider.

4.2 Cancellations & Reschedules by World of Agile

  • World of Agile reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a class at any time, including but not limited to, insufficient registrations, classroom or trainer unavailability, or if the trainer could not attend due to unforeseen circumstances.
  • You are advised to consult a World of Agile Training Coordinator prior to making any travel arrangements for a training.
  • World of Agile is not liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or special damages that may be incurred due to a cancellation of a scheduled class, including, but not limited to cancellation penalties owing to transportation or accommodation arrangements.
  • Registrants would not be charged for the training and would be offered full credit to a future workshop or full refund as per the wish of the registrant.
  • All Refunds will be made by the same mode as the payment was made.
  • Eligible Refund will be processed within 15 days after cancellation.
  • Processing refund may take up to 5 – 7 business days.

5. Program Delivery & Changes

World of Agile reserves the right to modify trainers, course content, schedules, delivery mode (classroom/virtual), or platform (e.g., Zoom, MS Teams) for operational reasons, provided the core learning objectives and accreditation requirements of the Program are preserved. Where an accreditation body (e.g., Scrum Alliance, Scaled Agile) mandates specific content or session hours, we will ensure compliance with those requirements.

You are responsible for ensuring you have a stable internet connection, a compatible device, and any required software (e.g., video conferencing tools) to participate in virtual sessions. World of Agile is not responsible for participation issues arising from your own equipment or connectivity.

6. Certification & Accreditation

Certifications such as CSM®, CSPO®, A-CSM®, A-CSPO®, CSP®-PO, and SAFe® credentials are issued directly by the relevant accreditation body (Scrum Alliance or Scaled Agile, Inc.) — not by World of Agile — and are subject to that body’s own eligibility criteria, renewal terms, and code of conduct. World of Agile facilitates your enrollment and delivers the training but has no authority over the accreditation body’s decision to award, withhold, or revoke a credential.

Where World of Agile issues its own skill badges or certificates of completion (e.g., “AI for Agile Professionals,” “Practical Kanban”) that are not third-party accredited, these represent completion of our internal training only and do not carry external accreditation unless explicitly stated on the relevant course page.

Certificates and credentials are awarded only upon satisfying the applicable attendance, assessment, or examination requirements of the Program and the accrediting body, at World of Agile’s and/or the accrediting body’s sole discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All course materials, presentations, videos, quizzes, workbooks, templates, trademarks, logos, and other content made available through the Platform or Programs (“World of Agile Content”) are the property of World of Agile and/or its licensors and accreditation partners, and are protected under Indian copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

CSM®, CSPO®, CSD®, CSP®, A-CSM®, A-CSPO® and related marks are registered trademarks of Scrum Alliance. SAFe® and the Scaled Agile Framework® are registered trademarks of Scaled Agile, Inc. These marks are used with permission or under license and remain the property of their respective owners.

You may access and use World of Agile Content solely for your personal, non-commercial learning purposes in connection with your enrolled Program. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, or create derivative works from World of Agile Content, or share your login credentials or course access with any third party, without our prior written consent.

If you believe any content on the Platform infringes your intellectual property rights, please contact us with details of the material and your claim, and we will investigate promptly.

8. User Conduct

By using the Platform or attending a Program, you agree that you will not:

  • Harass, discriminate against, or create a hostile environment for other participants, trainers, or staff;
  • Cheat on any assessment, exam, or assignment, or share secured testing materials or answer keys without authorization;
  • Record, redistribute, or publicly share live session content (video, audio, or materials) without World of Agile’s written consent;
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable local, national, or international law;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform, other users’ accounts, or World of Agile’s systems, or interfere with the Platform’s proper functioning (e.g., via malware, scraping, or denial-of-service activity).

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a live session, revoke Platform access, or decline further enrollment where these conduct standards are violated, without obligation to refund fees already earned for services rendered.

9. User Content

If the Platform or Programs allow you to submit content — such as forum posts, discussion comments, assignment submissions, feedback, or testimonials (“User Content”) — you retain ownership of that content, but you grant World of Agile a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display such User Content for training delivery, quality improvement, and marketing purposes (e.g., displaying a testimonial on our website), unless you request otherwise in writing.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that it does not infringe any third party’s rights, contain confidential information belonging to others, or violate applicable law.

10. Third-Party Links & Tools

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or resources (e.g., Scrum Alliance’s certification portal, payment gateways, or scheduling tools). World of Agile does not control and is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third-party sites. Your use of such sites is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and Programs are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, World of Agile makes no warranty, express or implied, that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that course content will guarantee any specific career, examination, or certification outcome. Course schedules, trainer availability, and content are subject to change as described in Section 5.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, World of Agile, its founders, trainers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or opportunity) arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Platform or Programs. Where liability cannot be excluded, World of Agile’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount of fees actually paid by you for the specific Program giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold World of Agile and its trainers, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or any User Content you submit.

14. Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at worldofagile.com/privacy-policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described therein, including for the purpose of sharing your progress or completion status with relevant accreditation bodies where required for certification.

15. Termination

World of Agile may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform or a Program, without prior notice, where you materially breach these Terms — including through misconduct, non-payment, or misuse of course materials. Termination for cause does not entitle you to a refund of fees already earned for services rendered, subject to Section 4 where applicable.

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved, such disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Thane / Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

17. Miscellaneous

17.1 Force Majeure

World of Agile shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, internet or utility failures, governmental action, or civil unrest.

17.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17.3 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and World of Agile regarding your use of the Platform and Programs, superseding any prior agreements on the subject, except where a separately signed corporate agreement expressly states otherwise.

17.4 No Waiver

World of Agile’s failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision.
